"Being healthy and fit most of my life it was hard to cope with the excess weight I've gained from my pregnancy. 80 lbs. overweight caused a lot of damage to my health and my finances. I was diagnosed with scoliosis, had back, knee pain, taking medication, and having to see a chiropractor and physical therapist on a regular basis. It was the worst point in my life.

However, all that had changed when I made the decision to enroll into personal training. It was there where I met friendly and caring people who helped me not only to lose weight but to encourage me to look and feel good, especially my Personal trainer Andy. Who not only guided me through the process of losing weight but taught me how to incorporate all that I've learned into my life. As a result I've lost 60 lbs. with proper nutrition, training and guidance.

I am proud to say that I have some muscle development and I am completely healthy. No more medication, no more visits to physical therapist, and no more problems! Working out with my trainer has been the best thing I have ever done for myself. Beside the fact that my weight is down to 215 lbs. from a recent high of 306 lbs., I am in the best physical shape of my life and that would've never had happened on my own. I've realized that having the appointment with the trainer forced me to go even if I was not in the mood.

But more importantly than that, my trainer has worked every muscle in my body, from working on building up my strength, endurance and flexibility in the beginning to now working on building some nice muscle definition. I believe the key in being successful at the gym is doing the exercises correctly.

Proper use of the machines and the correct form makes all the difference. I strongly recommend a trainer to anyone who wants to make a big change in their physical shape, even if you only use the trainer in the beginning to learn. - Jeff

Dear Marika, I wanted to take this opportunity and thank you for all the work that you have done for me. I began this journey about two months ago with a goal in mind and that was to bring my weight down from 230lb to a range from 190 to 195lb.

This was achieved quicker than I imagined, and now I stand before you at 193lb as of April 5, 2010. Your advice and technique helped me achieve my goals and now as I look in the mirror, I like the person I see and with the training that you have provided for me I will be able to attain even more.
